61- Sausage eating British... the KGL

Small detour through the Napoleonic wars to show you the whole unit of the KGL for my friend JB. it's a shame I took pictures in a hurry, because I forgot to take pictures for the whole army, and you won't see neither Wellington nor Picton. Shame on me. Anyway, here are the galant German troops in his Majesty's service.

  1. Nice..one of my favourite napoleonic regiments when I was a youngster...all my Airfix british infantry figs ended up as this regiment.
Back then I wargamed nearly every day...these days...work = tired = mostly just painting...but the medieval village wargame will continue...watch for the action soon ;-D

  2. Very nice!

Some of Wellington's best troops, these chaps. At least best disciplined; they didn't seem to have nearly as much of a penchant for alcohol and stealing as the British! ;-)
