Come on guys, time to gather the troups

Falling behind Tamsin  this easily left me with a bitter taste in my mouth ( na kidding). But because I already had prepped a new unit, I could start earlier than expected, and so here is the first part.

All the references come from the Essex Han range. To be honest, I don't really like the shield bearers, but then, I don't have anything else at the moment, so they'll do. I went for another Brown unit, but with a different shade of Brown, and I think tis one looks better than the one used on the skirmishers.

  3. Looking very good :)

How many BGs have you finished now? I've got 8 4-base BGs of cavalry done and 4 6-base BGs of light foot will be based up this evening.

  5. I like the shield bearers, you've made a great job on them. Don't know too much about the period but, they have an unusual shaped shield!!
