The faithful turtles

Beware mortals! The turtles are ready to wage war in the name of the emperor! This is far from being a joke. Though in our occidental cultures, having a unit baptized as the turtles could be laughable, this is not the case in the Chinese cosmoslogy. Turtles are associated with stability, power... very positive qualities. So, in fact, it's a really good name for them.

You'll see a flag bearing the symbol of the phoenix. Well, for the story, the turtles fought alongside the Elite Phoenix at the battle of the Red River, buying enough time by standing against hordes of ennemies to allow the phoenix to charge in the flank of the ennemy army, thus winning the day. In recognition, the Emperor himself gave the turtle this second flag.

  1. Beautiful battlegroup! I've really enjoyed watching your Chinese Warring states army come together! I've also enjoyed the information about each of the units as this is a period I know little about and no one in our club runs a Chinese army. Whoever gets to go against this army the first time will be lucky indeed!
