Those who are about to spend... Salute 2013

I'm finally seated in front of the PC, trying to recollect everything that happened during the day. To be honest, even though I had payed my ticket in advance I didn't know if I could really go to Excel... My daughter is sick again, yay... Anyway, I got the green light from my wife and I arrived at 9.40Am. There I met Simon for a little transaction. But shhh, more on that later. The queue was just gigantic, but I was in at 10:10, which is good.

Hmm, that would be nice in the living-room...

Once there,  I was thinking how busy it was, and apparently many people I talked to had the same impression. Apparently it will be a great success. Well done Warlords. I also had the opportunity to meet 6mmPhil from the lead adventure forum, very nice chap. And at 1PM, I attented the bloggers meeting, where I saw Ray, Fran, Postie, Lee, Tamsin and Mike ( the whole rejects gang). But I also met Sydney, Mike number 2, and many more whose names I've already forgotten. I remember someone was from Prague. Sorry, I am bit tired after the long walk.

But I guess you're not here to read about my social life, you want some wargaming porn. First, the king of sandbagging:

Time for a change, Salute is coming!

Alright. Not much happened on the painting front these past few days. I've primed a lot, but not painted much, sadly. I really feel exhausted and I don't feel like painting during the evenings. I prefer instead working on my web designs lessons (about to start again, yepee), and therefore I've changed the layout. Just tell me what you think.

Il s'est passe peu de choses en ce qui concerne la peinture ces derniers temps. Je vous avoue etre bien creve en ce moment (foutu hiver qui s'attarde), et j'en profite pour bosser mon web design dont les cours vont reprendre bientot. J'en ai donc profite pour refaire la mise en page du blog. Qu'en pensez-vous?

I've also received my Salute ticket, and I really hope to spend more time (and cash?) there than last year.... It won't be hard, trust me. And, quite a big news, I'm about to start a new project, in 28mm! I took the liberty of taking advantage of the Foundry clear-out on e-bay to buy some stuff. I just hope I can manage this scale "en masse". I'll start it after my Spartacus project, and after I've finished painting some stuff for my medieval army. So stay tuned.

Par ailleurs, j'ai egalement recu mon ticket pour Salute, ou j'espere passer plus de temps et depenser davantage que l'an dernier ( pas difficile). Parallelement, j'ai recu ma commande Foundry en profitant de leurs soldes sur E-bay. Je tiens le projet secret pour le moment, mais j'espere m'en sortir. Je le commencerai apres mon armee Spartacus et mes restes d'armee medievale. Alors restez branches.
