Happy birthday! Let's start with a crazy week: day 1, Blood Bowl giveaway

Hi everyone.
Today is my birthday! Well, not quite, it's my blog 2nd birthday. And I have to tell you a lot of things happened. I made some friends, did a lot of projects, started lots of them, finished only a few (erm). But one major thing for me is the fact that my reader's profile has changed. Let me explain. Up unitl a couple of days ago, the most numerous readers were from France, as I could expect. But since the past week, the country contributing to the most important hit numbers is... the USA. And the gap is widening every day. Uk is third, still a couple thousands hits behind them.. So, thanks a lot everyone, it means a lot to me.

And to celebrate this, I intend to start a week of craziness, full of giveaways.

Salutations. C'est aujourd'hui mon anniv'. Bon  pas tout a fait, mais c'est plutot celui de mon blog. Voila deux que je suis sur blogspot, et franchement je ne le regrette pas. Certes il y a des bugs, mais j'ai pu connaitre un paquet de bloggers internationaux, j'ai demarre une tonne de porjets, pour en terminer une quantite infime (hum).
Par ailleurs, c'est une etape importante, car depuis quelques jours, le profil de mes lecteurs a change. En effet, jusqu'a il y a peu, mon plus grand nombre de lecteurs venait de France. Ce n'est desormais plus le cas, car environ 25% de mon lectorat est desormais americain. Le Royaume-Uni vient en troisieme position, a quelques milliers de hits derriere la France.

Pour celebrer ce double evenement, j'ai decide de faire une semaine de folie, avec des cadeaux a gagner toute la semaine:

Hi everyone.

I know it's been a while since my last post about minis. I'm still slowly painting up some stuff, including some medieval and ancients units, but so far, nothing really finished. Therefore, nothing to show you. I'm so exhausted at nights that I can barely paint for more than 20 minutes... Anyway, I think I should have something ready in the coming days. But for now, simply enjoy this video my wife showed me yesterday. I'm pretty sure it will brighten your day. Cheers

Je reconnais et assume ma totale honte sur le manque de posts avec photos de figus. Oui, j'ai honte, et j'en prends acte. De fait, j'ai decide de me retirer de la vie polit.... Oups, desole, mauvais billet d'excuse. J'ai certes peint deux-trois choses, mais rien de termine pour le moment, que ce soit en antique ou en medieval. Chui trop creve en ce moment et j'ai beaucoup de peine a peindre plus de 20minutes par seance... Mais ca va revenir. En attendant, voici une video que ma femme m'a montree hier soir. Si vous comprenez un peu l'Anglais, cela devrait vous faire sourire. Enjoy.

First of all, I'll give you my long expected swag from Salute. Oh, Yeah, I've spent tons of cash, having to borrow heavily from my wife's account... She will kill me for sure... Not! Right, this was a poor attempt at Kazakh humour...

Really nice suit

To be honest, I had started a shopping list weeks ago, but after each passing, it grew thinner, simply because I've already everything I need. What, shocking! A wargamer always needs something! Well, given the space I have at home (already full) I couldn't get much. So I decided to be reasonnable. In the end, here is what I bought:

A few bases from Warbases, a blister from Foundry, and a very good deal from Simon: 42 28mm minis for 24£ ! Yay! And that's it. Less than 40 quids. Because I'm about to start a 28mm I need space, so at the same time, I'll start selling stuff. So watch this blog, I'll start soon enough. Oh, another reason. One of the comments about my pics from Salute said my camera tended to be slightly out of focus. He's right, I think it's slowly and painfully dying, after 10 good years of service. So I also need extra money to buy a new one.

Bonsoir a tous. Derriere la facade on ne peut plus amene de ces charmantes hotesses vous accueillant sur cette page, se cache une terrible verite: je suis devenu raisonnable, et je n'ai pas vraiment depense au Salute. J'ai deja ce dont j'ai besoin. Scandale! Un wargamer a toujours besoin de quelque chose! Ben non, justement. Apres mes achats Foundy sur Ebay, j'ai deja ce qu'il faut pour m'occuper pour un an je suppose. Et comme en plus je risque de manquer de place, je pense ouvrir rapidement une rubrique avec des trucs a vendre. Alors si vous voulez faire des affaires, surveillez les mises a jour.

Revenons a nos moutons kazaks. Au total, j'ai depense environ 40 livres, pour recuperer des bases chez Warbases, un blister Foundry, et 42 figs pour 24 livres a Simon.

Le genre de truc qu'on ne refuse pas quoi.

Parallement, il me faut economiser, car mon APN commence a rendre l'ame apres 10 de bons et loyaux services. Il devient difficile de faire des photos nettes meme a distance et reglages optimum. Bref, je me recentre.
