I'm peacefully painting my way through my Longstreet brigade. I have to write down all the historical background of my avatar, but first, let's enjoy some pictures of my newly painted 15mm heroes.
Before showing you my work, a warm welcome to Ed Allen, my new follower.
Right, here we go. During the course of a Longstreet game, you can gain and/or lose heroes. Each time you fight in hand-to-hand combat, you have a chance one of your men fought so valiantly he is now considered a hero. Should that be the case, your unit will fight better.
I've also painted what will be my avatar during the campaign. You will learn more about him in a few, trust me.All the minis are Old Glory 15mm, and except two of them, come all from the command pack. I still have a lot of them, which will be useful to create new units during the war.

DeleteNice figures! I like the round bases to pick out heroes.
ReplyDeleteWe're getting into Longstreet too, in 6mm, since we have some prior ACW in that scale. "Saw the elephant" in a learning game yesterday. The campaign kicks off in a couple of months.
Good luck Ed.
